Photographer and Director of Photography based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Twice a nominee for the Joop Swart Masterclass and winner of the Canon Prize 2007, in Holland, Luiz studied photography at the UofN, in Hawaii, portraiture at the ICP, in New York, and cinematography at the GCI, in Los Angeles, and Maine Media Workshops. He has photographed in more than 50 countries for several publications around the world.
